That ends the first match of tonight's double-header. We'll be shortly back with the second match as the action shifts to Karachi. Switch tabs and enjoy all the action. For now, cheers and bye..

Saud Shakeel | Quetta Gladiators Captain - I think the way we started, it gave us the momentum - Finn batted well, Kusal and Rilee Rossouw gave momentum towards the end. It wasn't a 216-run pitch, it was more of a 180-run pitch, the bowlers then did well with Abrar in particular. There's a lot of experience in the bowling line-up, you don't need to tell them what to do and that makes my job easy. I want to make big runs and take the game deep.

Abrar Ahmed | Player of the Match - I've taken several return catches. The discipline in the powerplay was special, the captain wanted us to take wickets and we were successful in doing that. We have plenty of talent in our batting line-up, the depth is really good with the ball and the combination is special.

Babar Azam | Peshawar Zalmi Captain: Our plans weren’t executed in the first six overs, and that’s where the game changed. We covered up after that but couldn’t finish well. The behaviour of the pitch changed a bit in the second innings, the ball started staying low and was slower. It isn’t an excuse, but we couldn’t build partnerships and we kept losing wickets back to back. The way Saim played was great, he will be an asset for Peshawar Zalmi this season. When you have a mentor like him (Inzamam), you learn a lot. He shares all his experiences and all the youngsters try to learn from him

18:42 Local Time, 13:42 GMT, 19:12 IST: It has been a second straight one-sided affair in Rawalpindi and the Gladiators put up a show. They were asked to bat first and the entire top-5 contributed as they amassed 216 on the board. The Zalmis would've fancied their chances of chasing it down, but they lost Babar Azam for a duck and then struggled through the batting PP. It didn't help that they lost wickets in clusters, back-to-back wickets with the score reading 30, 93, 103 and 117. You're never going to win a game of cricket with such a sorry scorecard and the Zalmis found it to their discomfort. They were a tad unlucky that the wicket slowed down and the odd ball stayed low, but the Gladiators did deserve that piece of luck. Four wickets for Abrar, two each for Tariq and Abrar, and it was a top effort from the bowling unit in unison.

15.1

Amir to Mitchell Owen, out Caught by Kusal Mendis!! The Gladiators win by 80 runs and it's been a proper hammering for the Zalmis. On a length and angling across the right-hander, Owen clears his front-leg on the hoick, gets a lot of height and no real distance - Kusal Mendis calls for the catch, runs across towards backward point and holds onto the skier. Mitchell Owen c Kusal Mendis b Amir 31(13) [4s-1 6s-4]

Amir to Mitchell Owen, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Mohammad Amir [2.0-0-11-1] is back into the attack

14.6

Abrar Ahmed to Ali Raza, no run, Abrar tosses one on off, Raza lunges forward defensively

14.5

Abrar Ahmed to Ali Raza, no run, pushed through around off, Raza goes back and jams an inside edge to the on-side

14.4

Abrar Ahmed to Ali Raza, no run, appeal for LBW, was the wrong 'un and Raza didn't pick it, was pressing forward and might've got an inside edge

14.3

Abrar Ahmed to Mitchell Owen, 1 run, flighted delivery outside off, Owen doesn't get hold of the slog-sweep and mistimes it towards long-on, goes to the fielder on the bounce

14.2

Abrar Ahmed to Mitchell Owen, SIX, clubbed, Abrar tosses one on middle, Owen clears his left leg and then hoicks this carrom ball over long-on

14.2

Abrar Ahmed to Mitchell Owen, wide, pushed through flatter and well wide of off, past the tramlines and has been wided

14.1

Abrar Ahmed to Mitchell Owen, SIX, hat-trick ball and Abrar has been swung away over long-on for a maximum - was the carrom ball, but it's too full and Owen uses his reach to hoist it over long-on

13.6

Usman Tariq to Ali Raza, no run, loud shout for LBW, it's not given and they've reviewed. Think this was sliding down leg, stayed low and Ali Raza played completely down the wrong line. Clearly no bat, onto the ball-tracking and it's spinning down leg, they've lost a review

A slip in place

13.5

Usman Tariq to Mitchell Owen, 1 run, tossed up delivery on off, was right in the slot, but Owen went too hard on the swipe and dragged it towards deep mid-wicket

13.4

Usman Tariq to Mitchell Owen, no run, tossed up slower and just outside off - Owen goes for a wild slog and misses, Kusal Mendis breaks the stumps and appeals, but to no avail

13.3

Usman Tariq to Mitchell Owen, no run, flighted delivery outside off, drifts away from the right-hander, stayed low and beats Owen's swing
