Profile
Ishan Jayaratne is a Sri Lankan right-arm pacer who plays first-class cricket. He was a part of the Under-19 team and was also selected for the 2007 World Cup. He began playing for the Under-23 Colts Cricket Club team before becoming a part of their regular squad. He made his List A debut for them in January 2009. He made his first-class debut two years later in February 2011. So far, he has scored over 650 first-class runs and taken close to 70 wickets.

Jayaratne is a part of the Sri Lanka A side but he is yet to make his way into the national team. He idolizes Sanath Jayasuriya.
