Veer Pratap Singh is a young fast bowler, who made his first-class debut during the 2011-12 season for Bengal. He is known for generating good pace and he was offered an IPL contract in 2012 by Deccan Chargers. He played 9 matches for them and was later bought by Kolkata Knight Riders at the 2014 auctions. However, he did not get a game at KKR in IPL-7.

Unfortunately, he was not picked Bengal's Ranji side after the 2012-13 season but continues to play the other two formats for Bengal in domestic cricket.
