Profile
Ashok Menaria captained the India Under-19 squad at the 2010 World Cup but was his team didn't do well in the tournament, crashing to Pakistan in the Quarterfinal. The captain himself did not enjoy the trip as he hardly had anything against his name in both batting and bowling charts.

However, once he was roped into the Rajasthan side during the 2010/11 season, he hit three hundreds in each of the knock-out games and helped Rajasthan clinch the title. In fact, those were the first three matches he played after a long injury lay-off.

He was impressive the next season as well and ended his campaign with the second best average in the side.

His impressive run in the domestic circuit earned him an IPL contract from Rajasthan Royals in 2011, for whom he played until 2013. However, he found no bidders at the 2014 auctions and went unsold.
