Profile
A fast bowler of repute, Schultz could have been destroyer in chief if not for persistent knee injuries which curtailed his Test career to just 9 caps. Schultz debuted against the touring Indians in the 1992-93 season with moderate success.

His best hour came on the lifeless Sri Lankan tracks as he tore apart the host batsmen to end with 20 wickets to help South Africa register a famous series victory. He was adjudged the player of the series. He managed to procure significant seam movement off the surface and had both the right handed batsmen and the left-handers in trouble.

Injuries curtailed his career to a great extent. He had multiple operations on his surgeries and drifted out of the game and into the financial world.
