Profile
The elder brother of Martin, Jeff made it to the international scene only a year later than his immensely gifted younger sibling. Jeff had made a name for himself playing provincial cricket for South Australia and had attracted considerable interest from the Australian selectors before deciding to wear the whites for his home nation.

Jeff had an average time in front of the wicket, though his fielding skills were of top notch, he could also keep wickets. The well built Jeff resembled Martin a lot and used to confuse the commentators when the two siblings were in the crease. He was asked to bat at No. 3 on the arduous tour of the West Indies and Jeff showed plenty of courage while making 112 to help the Kiwis save a humiliating innings defeat.

Jeff Crowe captained New Zealand in 6 Tests and has served as the manager of the New Zealand cricket team. He is now one of the widely respected match referees in the ICC panel.
