Harmanpreet Kaur - When we came to the ground, with the conditions and the cloud, we knew it would play a role, but surprisingly was very hot and sunny. We saved many runs in the field, so good to see everyone putting their hands up. Sneh Rana and Charani did well, gave us crucial breakthroughs, so did Deepti. She is taking responsibility, playing according to the needs of the team, happy to see her coming up well (on Pratika Rawal)
Pratika Rawal | Player of the Match - It's just years of hard work which is coming into place, I'm lucky to have got this opportunity. I'm just trying to play according to the merit of the ball, nothing special, I've a partner who is doing good at supporting me. Just playing according to the situation of the match. I think the bowling was good, there wasn't a lot in it for the bowlers in the second innings, it was coming on nicely, no swing or seam, we just had to pick the gaps.
Chamari Athapaththu - I would like to congratulate India, they played really well. Toss could be a reason at times, but we didn't play our best cricket in the first 10 overs, the bowling was good, but we didn't execute our plans. The pitch wasn't at its best for batting initially, but no excuses. 200 was a minimum on this wicket against a good batting line-up of India. We didn't execute our plans, the wicket got better as the day went on.
17:15 Local Time, 11:45 GMT, 17:15 IST: A comfortable victory for India, one which was never in doubt after their bowling effort. Smriti Mandhana gave them a rollicking start, one that kept them well above the asking rate. Pratika Rawal showed composure yet again, Harleen Deol started slowly and then found her range. Together, they added an unbeaten 95-run partnership for the second wicket to get their team home. To their credit, Sri Lanka were good in the field and tried their best with the ball, but they didn't have a score to defend and couldn't apply any kind of pressure on the Indian batters.
