The Islamabad United juggernaut rolls on. They are five out of five and 10 in total if you consider from last season. There seems to be no stopping them at the moment and the only question would be have they peaked too soon? Another defeat for Multan Sultans and they remain at the bottom of the table. They are entering the must-win-every-game territory and that might just bring the best out of them. That's all from here. We'll be back tomorrow with another encounter. Until then, goodbye and stay safe..
Shadab Khan: Our team was good on paper but we have to show it on the ground. Whatever plans are given everyone is performing. At the toss, I thought the pitch was dry and the dew would come on in the second innings, the bowlers pulled it back nicely in the last 5-6 overs and the credit has to go to them. There is good value for all rounders in T20 cricket and we are happy to have such players in our squad.
Andries Gous | Player of the Match: It is a big relief. I wasn't sure when that big knock will come and happy that it came today, thanks to the team for keep backing me. It was a bit slow when it started but when dew came on, the ball started to skid. There was pressure in the beginning, I spoke to the coach and there was backing, that was a big relief. Yes it helped, allowed me to see how the wicket plays and go about my innings accordingly.
Mohammad Rizwan: We were 15-20 short, the ball was gripping a touch and the second innings it was completely different. We felt 180-plus was a safe score. The way they executed in the death was good because of the experience, and we haven't executed our plans well. There will always be pressure when you lose and hopefully we will improve going forward. The year we became champions, this is the same trend that happened, like losing first 3, winning the 4th and then losing the 5th. Hopefully we can turn things around.
23:25 Local Time, 18:25 GMT, 23:55 IST: A clinical run-chase from the defending champions. They hardly broke a sweat as they cruised to victory with almost 3 overs to spare. Farhan gave them a quick start before falling to Ubaid, but Andries Gous kept going at one end and found an able ally in Munro. The pair found the fence at regular intervals to keep the scoreboard moving and stitched a 50+ stand for the second wicket. Munro fell short of his fifty but Gous went onto register his maiden PSL fifty. Nawaz joined Gous and they added another 50 partnership which all but sealed the game. Multan Sultans bowlers tried their best but they were well short with the bat. After a good win last night it is back to a defeat for them today. Presentations coming up..
Ubaid Shah to Gous, SIX, Islamabad United win by 7 wickets. Gous finishes it in style. Short of length delivery and Gous picked the bones out of that, he waits on the back foot and nails the pull over cow corner
Ubaid Shah [3.0-0-25-1] is back into the attack
Saad Masood, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Jordan to Nawaz, out Caught by Usman Khan!! A wicket out of nowhere. Jordan suggested he heard something. Usman Khan first jokingly signalled the 'T', but Rizwan had reviews up his sleeve and he sends it upstairs. There's a spike on UltraEdge and Nawaz won't be there to finish the game. Full delivery around off, Nawaz makes room and swings through the line, gets a thin outside edge and Usman hangs on. There was no appeal or anything but they just took a chance with the review. Nawaz c Usman Khan b Jordan 21(19) [4s-1 6s-1]
Jordan to Nawaz, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Jordan to Nawaz, 1 run, very full delivery around off, Nawaz squeezes the drive to mid-off
Jordan to Nawaz, no ball, spots Nawaz shape to play the scoop and fires it outside off, does not landing it within the playing area. Nawaz lets it pass. The umpire checks with the third umpire as to where the ball pitched - deems it a no-ball. Free-hit coming up..
Jordan to Gous, 1 run, short of length delivery, Gous rolls his wrists over and pulls it to deep mid-wicket
Jordan to Gous, SIX, lovely shot! Fullish delivery on middle and leg, Gous makes room and lofts through the line. Offers the full face of the bat and times it beautifully, no problem in clearing the long-off fence

Usama Mir to Nawaz, no run, floated up on off, Nawaz defends off the inner half onto the pad
