PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Shafali Verma

That ends the Bengaluru leg with RCB having lost all four matches they've played here. Their tournament started on such a bright note with back-to-back wins in Vadodara, but they're now falling behind in the race for the top three spots. DC, meanwhile, have qualified and are looking good to finish on top of the table. That's all we have from this one. Until next time, it's goodbye from Sagar Chawla and Naveen!

Shafali | POTM: Feels good to have won it for the team. I feel very happy when the team wins. There was movement early on, so I wanted to stay calm. See off a couple of balls. And keep talking to my partner. Our focus was on taking as many singles as possible, and capitalise on the loose balls. Want to keep doing the same going ahead - react to the ball. If the target was 170-180, we would've been under pressure to go hard in the powerplay. But it was 140, so I thought I can take it deep as it's not that difficult.

Lanning | DC captain: Back-to-back games, wanted to come here tonight and continue the momentum we built last night. Probably weren't at our best on the field, but it wasn't through lack of effort. I thought everybody turned up today with a great mindset. We've been able to take wickets upfront which has put the brakes on teams. And we've been consistent with the wickets through the innings as well. It's a different person each game. We don't rely on one or two players. That's been the strength for us. She's done an excellent job (Jonassen). She's come in and played beautifully, taken the pressure off and looked to score as soon as she's come in. Certainly putting her hand up to keep doing it (batting at three). We'll have a couple of days off. Been a hectic tournament, will be nice to have a couple of days off.

Jonassen: It was probably a lesson in slogging to the leg-side (her knock today). Was really nice having someone like Shafali at the other end. The left-right combination worked, didn't allow them to settle on their lines. They missed a little bit straight to me at times. With a slightly shorter boundary, I'm glad I was able to capitalise. Knew there was going to be a little shape early, and the wicket was holding a fraction. We just needed to keep playing nice and straight. And not to panic. We were a bit behind in the first few overs. Kept reminding her to keep being smart, and she kept reminding me to keep hitting straight. Always love batting with her. We're building perfectly. Started a little bit rusty. We were a little sloppier than we would've liked on the field. Thankfully it didn't cost us too much. Always pleasing when you have people sitting on the sidelines who can come in and perform (talking about Charani) . Speaking with her before the match, she's just unflappable. She bowls with a really good trajectory and it's exciting if that's what she can produce on debut.

Mandhana | RCB captain: Pez batted really well for us to get us to 145 runs. We could've got a better start from me. Batting wise on that wicket, still feel that 145 was a good effort. It did play on the slower side - was the fourth match on the same wicket. We could've adapted better. Not really. Raghvi is a 20-year-old. She was trying her best. We definitely did not think that (retiring Raghvi). The way she ended her innings was good for her. Renuka has been brilliant for us throughout. We all have a week out before the next match. A lot of reflection for sure. That's how cricket is sometimes. Really hard one for the fans who came out and supported us in huge numbers. Would just say sorry because they came out in huge numbers. We couldn't win a match in Bangalore. Huge thanks to them. They're still chanting RCB - there's a reason they're the best fans in the world.

22:29 Local Time, 16:59 GMT, 22:29 IST: DC extend their lead at the top of the table and have officially qualified for the next round. They have absolutely destroyed the target of 148, getting home with close to five overs to spare. The dugout is pumped and so are their fans who were heavily outnumbered this evening by the home crowd. The Bengaluru fans came out in huge numbers this evening, chanting for RCB and backing them to the hilt in their final home game of the season. But Shafali and Jonassen didn't give them too much to cheer about. They got together in the powerplay and hammered the bowling to all parts, condemning RCB to their fourth straight defeat - all of them coming at the Chinnaswamy.
