Kagiso Rabada returns home due to personal resasons
Gujarat Titans fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has returned home in South Africa 'to deal with an important personal matter'. A statement from the franchise confirmed it, but there is no timeline mentioned for his expected return.
The pacer featured for the Titans in the first two matches of the season - against Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians, but sat out of the third against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, with Gill stating that his exclusion was for personal reasons.

Digvesh fined for code of conduct breach
LSG bowler Digvesh Singh copped a 25 per cent fine of his match fees and was handed one demerit point for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during his team's match against Punjab Kings on Tuesday.
The incident in question took place in the third over of PBKS' chase when the bowler celebrated getting opener Priyansh Arya out with a notebook-celebration. The umpires promptly warned the bowler against it. Digvesh admitted to the Level 1 offence under Article 2.5 and accepted the Match Referee's sanction.

Riyan Parag cops fine for slow over-rate
Rajasthan Royals' stand-in captain Riyan Parag has been fined for Rajasthan Royals' slow over-rate during their fixture against Chennai Super Kings in Guwahati. Parag has been fined INR 12 lakhs as it was RR's first such offence of the season.

Hardik Pandya fined for slow over-rate
Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has been fined for slow over-rate during his side's encounter against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on Saturday. The all-rounder had previously missed the tournament opener due to a one-match suspension that had come as a result of accumulating slow over-rate fines in the 2024 season. This, however, being MI's first offence of the season meant that Hardik was let off with a fine of INR 12 lakhs.
