"Playing for Nepal has been my biggest achievement and for that I will always be indebted towards my coaches, players, fans, stakeholders, friends and family for their continuous support over the last 18 years since I started as a young 15 year old back in 2002," he said in his statement.
Khadka had made his first-class debut back in 2004, but only made his ODI and T20I debuts in 2018 and 2014 respectively. He also represented Nepal in three Under-19 World Cups - in 2004, 2006 and 2008 before being named captain of the side in 2009. The all-rounder finished with 315 runs and 9 wickets in ODIs, while scoring 799 T20I ones, with 8 wickets.
"The amazing journey on a cricket field as an international cricketer ends here but the cricket dreams for my country have just started," he added.
